Taxes are coming soon and I want to purchase a PC 6906 for eventual carry and maybe local competition. Any leads other than the usual, overpriced online brokers?

Does a PC 5906 exist?

Yes, a number of different versions of the 5906 have been put out by the PC. Some are TDA like the 5906, some are single action only. Here's one I snagged recently:

Thanks for the reply. I'd be looking for the compact version.

There are a few PC 5906 variants. The 4" being the most common.

I have a PPC-9 from the performance center that I have for trade at the moment (on VAGuntrader). It's the double-stack, single-action, Briley-bushing cousin to the PC 952-2, only the PPC-9 is built on the full-size 5906 frame (over-sized and hand-lapped to size, of course). Perfect shape w/only 150 rds ever fired - purchased new by me directly from S&W!

It's a sub 1" / 25 yards target gun w/Nill wood grips and all the bells/whistles (7 mags, alum. case, etc., etc.).

errr....I just read you'd be looking for compact; sorry.

Ya a 6906 is a nice gun too.. nice and light to carry.. I think CDNN sports had some really nice used ones .. some were very good with box.. Look for them online... They will send you a nice catalog too.. Price was well under $400 I think starting at $329 depending on condition.. George

Oh sorry. I was going by the model number. My 6906 is a TDF
is this something I could send in and have the work done? Seams like the platform starts off as a 6906. George

Not really. The PC guns slide to frame fit is done by hand after the initial oversized cut is made. This is impossible without welding up the slide area and then removing material. So, short answer, yes. Long answer, will eventually cost more than buying a PC gun.

what would your cash price be for this? Also, where are you located in VA? My son is at school there now in Blacksburg. He has a PPS and an FNP, but after shooting my 5906 and 4014 he is looking for a 3rd gen. Thanks!

Can I purchase this outright from you?
Thank you for the consideration.
