I’m considering getting the Apex Flat Trigger put in my M&P.

Does the Apex set up have a more positive feeling reset?

In my experience the reset on the stock M&P trigger doesn’t feel as defined or positive as my other pistols which are a Sig P320, CZ P10C,
CZ P07 and a Sig 1911 Tacops 9mm.

Otherwise I like the stock M&P trigger.

Thanks for any info.

Yes. Tactile, positive and audible feedback.

THE reason I put the Apex FF kit in my 5" 2.0 is because I'd purchased a P320, which made me realize the M&P trigger needed some help. It brought it up to the same level as the stock P320 trigger, which is very good. Made the gun more accurate and more fun to shoot. Reset is more tactile, trigger is smoother and lighter. Well worth the investment.

The Gen 1 Flat trigger kit will eliminate almost all of the reset (audiable and felt), the updated trigger bar and slide stop are the best "mods" for a Gen 1 to get it back. The RAM never impressed me much but I always used it.

I have not fired my Gen 2 yet, but the Flat kit did make the reset less pronounced. It doesn't bother me as I'm not operator enough nor shoot enough to take advantage of shooting to reset in real life.

The pros of the flat kit outweigh that one negative for me.

With all of S&W hype on the 2.0's trigger, it still sucks and I'd personally say it was slightly worse than either of my gen 1 2014 year model Pro series. The hinge trigger just sucks all the way around. Shame S&W can't get around whatever lawsuit/patent and have an APEX style polymer trigger factory.

Yes this pretty much what I was looking to do. Bring the M&P trigger inline with my other pistols one being a P320.
