In honor of the upcoming anniversary of Man's First landing on the surface of Luna I will be giving away this cool documentary.

I have several copies of Al Reinhart's documentary "From the Earth to the Moon For ALL Mankind"

To%20the%20Moons.jpg

This is not the HBO mini-series that starred Tom Hanks.

Al Reinhart's piece was produced many years before that. It is all REAL footage, not some Hollywood fakery

This is NOT a playable DVD, it is a computer disc

I will open the Karma up to any Forum member that has 50 posts

To win, you just have to answer a simple question. Answer only one question that way we will have three winners

Question One . . . What was the name of the Apollo 11 Lunar Excursion Module?

Question Two . . . What was the name of the Apollo 11 Command Module?

Question Three . . . How many years did it take us to go from our very first flight at Kitty Hawk to walking on the Moon?

The Karma will be over when we have three correct answers

Command module was named Columbia and it took 65 years and 7 months from Orville and Wilbur’s first flight to the first step on the moon. Quite an achievement! I was seven and a half and a huge space junkie when it happened and I was there for the liftoff.

Edit: Still have my T-shirt, a little worse for the wear.

We have our first 2 winners

Unfortunately I now have to figure out a new question for the third give-a-way

if the 2 of you will send me your shipping address is in a PM I will get these out to you

Nice karma but please don't include me. I'm right in the middle of watching the 12 hour mini series produced by Tom Hanks and Ron Howard on Netflix. It has rekindled all my old memories from that time. I know your winners will greatly enjoy this awesome karma!!!

I'd like to enter. I heard an apocryphal story about Armstrong's statement "Good luck, Mr. Gorsky", but I won't share it here in order to keep from being banned. :)
