I'm waiting for the uphill slalom events. And the all-KGB 1500 Meter Skulk.

Don't forget the uphill ski jump or the Biathlon event shooting potatoes off the heads of refugees. Then you have the downhill mogul through a mine field or the cross country skiing while being chased by the Russian military.

One new event is free style texting while skiing downhill slaloms.

Another downhill event is skis that talk to gates and make changes in direction without the skier’s input. The only control the skier has is speed, not direction.

The best new event is from Iceland where the curling event has been modified to use midgets rather than curling irons. The event is the frozen midget widgets. You get extra points if you slide the midgets using the two-fingered-nose grip, rather than the two-handed-ears grip.

Those pics...I could get in a lot of trouble commenting on those pics. Got to fight the power.:cool::D

The athletes were complaining that there weren't any mattresses in the rooms at Olympic Village.Russian officials explained that they were being used to safely slow down the competitors at the end of the runs in Luge and Bobsled competition.

The athletes demands were met and the mattresses returned. However, barbed wire is now being used in their place as a backstop.
