I am trying hard to keep my revolvers in the carry rotation since switching to mostly AIWB carry. The AIWB holster market is geared toward semi-autos.

I posted about the Forged Tec J Frame AIWB holster a couple weeks ago. Here's the thread: Appendix Carry J Frame Holster... It has become a favorite. But, I needed 3" J Frame option. The 3" J frame is a fantastic carry gun. The extra barrel length stops the grip from tilting outward to aid comfort and concealment. So, I found this T5 Custom Kydex holster.

The T5 Custom Kydex arrived yesterday. It is well made. Have to give them a B+ because it shipped with a Dark Wing and not the Raven Concealment Systems Claw as ordered. Contacted T5 last night and received immediate response. Apparently, the RSC Claw is unavailable because of an injection molding factory shut down. That's okay, but notice or opportunity to substitute the Mod Wing would have been nice. I had to source this RSC Claw from another holster. Overall, not a huge deal and now it is set up according to my preference. DCC clip and RCS Claw.

I have only worn the holster for a few hours but can tell it is fine. Should work well. It is comfortable. It shields the hammer and everthing from poking and sweat. It will work just as well with the 2" J frames. Not sure if it will prove as comfortable as the Forged Tec. Either way, I am glad to have this option for my 3" J frames. Updates to follow.

Dude, you're going to sweat all over that.

Your sweat will turn into gas and condense water on the gun because it is under a shirt.

I have only a little extra fat right in the front of my stomache. Between the grip and barrel, it's very uncomfortable to sit or bend down. If it works, great. I don't think that it will

Looks like a good setup. I just can't get past pointing a gun at my junk.

I will admit a revolver is less scary than a striker fire.

Works for some not for me.

Good luck and be very careful.
