Howdy all. I have been getting more into carrying my 2" model 12 and 64 and would like to find a kydex holster that carries fairly low in the waistband. At least for me and my body type that is the most comfortable and concealable.

I have found it difficult to locate a holster like this and would really prefer to see photos to save myself some money. I'm sure we all have made those mistakes before.

Thank you for any assistance.

I would definitely recommend JM kydex they make revolver holsters. The other company I have experience with is ANR kydex but I don’t see they make for revolvers.

CUSTOM AIWB Holster: JM Custom Kydex

+1! I don't carry appendix, but I've got IWB holsters from him for my 3" and 4" K frames as well as for several autoloaders (including the Walther PPS I've got on right now). On another forum I'm active on, there are a lot of folks who carry revolvers AIWB and they're enthusiastic about his holsters. It's a good company to do business with.

I have a fully vertical (no cant) AIWB for my 3” Model 64 from JM Kydex. Seems to likely work well for your ask - the balance point is well chosen, so stable at AIWB. I would describe it as medium low ride using soft loops, but that’s something you might be able adjust a bit.

In my holster, there’s plenty of K Frame grip to grab.

Fine holster but I find the weight of the 3” steel K Frame better for OWB. No reservations about JM Kydex however.

I see their holsters are for 2.5” k frames. This is a problem I see often. I don’t want the extra 1/2” of holster. Especially poking me with appendix carry.

Ahhhhhh Bald1 is right!!! I saw 2” but it was for J frame my bad. I agree I hate extra holster length. I want bottom of holster flush with muzzle with a little fold over for protection. I’m carrying my 686 2.5 inch right now in a DeSantis cut for a 3”. It’s bugging me. Thinking of ordering custom length from Kramer or similar.

They're pretty good about customer requests. I'd email them and ask, they usually respond the same day.

Thanks for the assistance and I will check into JM Kydex.
