In reading another thread it seem there is a number of impromptu regional forum "meetings".

I have been thinking on this myself for some time, and was wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this.

I am located in Northwest AR. right close to several borders. I also have access to about 700 hotel rooms, if it was to be a weekend affair.
I can also probably arrange a private day at a local indoor range and maybe do a BBQ.

I would be interested as I spend most of my lengthy off time in NW Arkansas either camping in the Ozarks, floating the Buffalo, or visiting family.

I would need ample time to get off work, but I'd try my best to make it.
 
If you would not mind having a misplaced Texan attend I would be interested I live in Rogers, AR.
 
I would welcome all, and would try to make it a weekend where all could join...maybe some help on a date would be appropriate.

Its probably to late to plan for Memorial weekend but maybe sometime in June??
 
live in central texas but go to Tulsa once a year too see the mother, hell i can adjust too any get togther,,retired a few weeks ago, so am not bound by the work hours any more
 
How about somewhere around June 6th (D-Day) I think that's a weekend? I thought about the 4th of July, but I figured there would be too many idiots on the road, but I'll leave that open to the crowd.

Great idea ... I would be interested in participating. Can't make it the first half of June, but if you settle on a later date I'll sure try to be there.

I'd like to come, but don't base your date on me. I never know when I'll be in town. However, I do know that I have a 7am flight out of TUL to BWI on June 6. I've had it booked for six weeks.
 
OK due to some requests and my wife's work schedule...the official date is the weekend of June 27th.

The official rallying point will be the Holiday Inn in Springdale AR. For those coming from out of town I have reserved us a room rate of $65 a night for the 26th and 27th, or you can book on youre own at any number of hotels in town.

I am working on a tentative itinerary (bare with me this is my first time) but initially I am thinking of a meet and greet on Friday night, followed by a a shoot on Saturday and maybe a trip to a buddies gun shop and then on to BBQ.
I will provide the food (I really am a good cook) smoked brisket, and chicken, etc. and you BYOB (dont forget the cook).
As it stands right now, we have a number of options on the shoot. I have access to private land where we can set up informal targets etc., or I can arrange to use one of our local indoor ranges. I will let majority rule on this. If we use the indoor range I am planning on, the cost will be ~$10 per person, but lane sharing is allowed at a reduced cost.
