Just got her yesterday evening. I've always wanted an AR10, and I was finally able to get one. I went with Armalite's 3 Gun with the 13.5" barrel. But, it also has a pin and welded muzzle break which increases the overall length to 16"
I feel that you get a lot of value with an Armalite 3 Gun. I feel that Tommy Thacker did an outstanding job putting this package together for Armalite.
With the 3 Gun, you get the Luth MB-1 Stock, Tunable Muzzle Break, Tunable Gas Block and a 4 pound Timney Trigger that is just remarkable. It has the shortest reset I've ever felt. I have a buddy on Snipers Hide that libed his. He regularly took her out to 680 yards. Now, the 3 Gun does not come with flip up sights like their tactical models do. But,that's no big deal to me. I can add some later if I want.
Anyways, thanks for letting me share guys.
I'll try to get some more pics up later

I like old school stuff so my post-ban ArmaLite AR10B (purchased new about fifteen years ago) is “The Infantry Model” w/ fixed carrying handle, 20” bbl, and OD Green furniture. Uses modified M14 mags (all mine are Gen 2). I like it so much that I bought its little brother, “The Service Model” M15 (similar to Colt HBAR w/ OD Green furniture).

I sure wish 7.62x51 ammo was cheaper though...

Ya know, I'm 50 years old & I never even really got interested in firearms until I was 40 lol. But, although I've never served in our Armed Forces, I've been carrying a gun since I was 18 (armed security - and like most been shooting since a young boy) so, I guess I always had what I needed but, I never really bought any personal weapons per se. I reckon my point is, is that I feel like I've missed a lot thru the years. I really shudder a little when I consider the older S&W revolvers I could've gotten for a fraction of what I paid for my 27-2- still, worth every penny though 😃
At any rate, I'm really happy with this new Armalite- she rolled outta Phoenix on 4-13-22 so, shes hot off the press. I do however would like to know who makes Armalite's barrels. I'm sure they've had different vendors thru the years.

My Dad wouldn’t have any firearms in the house until everyone was grown (by then I was already in the Army). I got to shoot a .22 in Boy Scout Camp one year and I really enjoyed it. First centerfire rifle I ever shot was an M16A1 at BCT in ‘73. First pistol I ever fired was a M1911A1 in AIT. First shotgun I ever fired was in AIT. Although I now have other firearms, I’m most comfortable with the AR system (and I have a few different variations of AR’s).

Congrats on a nice rifle. I own an Armalite AR-10T heavy barreled target version from about 12 or so years ago. Very accurate, reliable. The most accurate among my .308 "battle" rifles.
