Yup... and make it run on Glock 22 mags.
In my opinion this is what killed the otherwise good Ruger PC40 Carbine. No one wanted to buy magazines for a really bad pistol.

I would like to see S&W Manufacture an M1 Carbine as well but chambered in .357 Magnum.
I own a PC4 It's not a bad gun except those 10 round magazines.
I have to ask why would S&W make a gun that uses Gluck magazines?

It was a joke. However, why did Ruger manufacture a rifle that took S&W mags? Why does Keltec manufacture a rifle that takes Glock mags? Sometimes it's just easier to build a rifle around a very popular and easy to get mag....I guess!
I'll tell you what though during the craze I had no problems finding Glock mags at the local gun stores for the same price they were pre panic. Can't say that for S&W or others. It's also a good selling point. I know a lot of shooters look into mag availability and price prior to buying a firearm
