Buy a 4"686 to go with your 6." If you want to go lighter look into the new six shot 686 "Mountain Gun" available now. it's even lighter than the standard 4." That way you stay with the same basic gun and have the availability of using 357 Magnum if you ever decide you need it. In todays climate I don't think you need to worry about it holding it's value: guns will continue to be in high demand and if you're ever foolish enough to want to get rid of it you won't have a problem.
