ATL Meeting 7/21/18!

S&W lovers, we are going to hold another meeting in the Atlanta area on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Walmart Super Center, 210 Cobb Parkway (US 41), SE in Marietta, GA. (33.945747, -84.521408). We will meet in the northernmost part of the parking lot adjacent to the Trade Center Parkway at 10 am. Bring lots of eye candy for us to feast on!

There is also an Eastman Gun Show 7/21-22 0.6 mile away at the Machinists Aerospace Union Hall, 1032 S Marietta Parkway, SE, Marietta, GA. Anyone who can't get enough guns from our meeting can saunter over there and pig out.

Bring your golf umbrella and some gloves. Umbrella for shade and gloves to keep from burning your fingers when admiring the guns. Look forward to seeing you there!



Ralph and Matthew are coming down from TN. Ralph says he's bringing some guns that practically no one has ever seen (or words to that effect). Having already seen some of his one-of-a-kind beauties, I'm excited.


Doc, I'm going to push back a bit on you. I know what you are trying to say, but the big dudes at the symposium were all very approachable and friendly at the two I attended. One of them even sponsored me when the SWCA was requiring someone to vouch for them to become a member. I wish I had started accumulating S&W's when I had more resources long before I began. Maybe I would have a nice collection like many of them. Can't really afford it now I'm retired, but I'm proud of what I've got. OH, the SWCA Board member says he can't make it...maybe next time?

Would be nicer, for sure. Takes us quite a ways from the gun show, though. I'm not wedded to a parking lot if someone who lives up there now has a better place for us to meet. I've been gone for 11 years.

BTW, I can bring a box of gnats with me if folks want that experience.

Scofflaw Brewing Co for the meeting? you guys are beginning to obtain my attention. These parking lots the last few days will "take your breath away" without ever showing a rare S&W pistol.

We are not meeting there because I can't change the location at the last minute and get the word out. If someone in ATL would organize some, perhaps we could always have it indoors.
