Atlanta meeting July 21st

Well the thunderstorms disappeared, the temperature stay low with a slight breeze, and we enjoyed getting together and looking at guns that we had not seen before.

Here are the guys that showed up.

Thank you for your leadership in getting us all together again. It was great to meet those of you that I have not met before (Dennis, Hank, and M. Howard) and to see those of you that I have met, again. Ralph only scared me 14 dozen times today with his aggressive race car driving and piloting skill set (he was my chauffeur, shhhhh...he thinks I was the navigator). Thank goodness we were not in Doc's 911, although it would have been a blast. Ralph took me to the ATL speedway for Porsche days after last year's meet. I would have loved to attempt to apply my own back country moto-cross, 4WD, semi-Baja background to Doc's 911 this year. In digression, I look forward to the next meeting.

Looks like a good time, these regional groups are a blast. There are some nice guns on display to talk about. The S&W family is a great group of people. The last NE Ohio Bunch we had 70 people show up, never enough time to mingle with everyone. We meet for 6 hours. Couple people want to get together the Friday night before. If anyone needs some ideas on how to build the group, send a PM with your phone number and I'll try to help. Larry

We have a plan to do the next Atlanta meeting in October at the Sharpshooter Range off I-85 @ Northcrest Road exit.

Please add me to the invite list. My daughter and son-in-law live in Atlanta and I'd love to link up with some more S&W fans. I'll bring along an old 27-2 and one of Skeeter Skelton's Contenders.
