auction sight (no reserve & no bid?)

I had my first and very pleasant experience with an online auction sight. as I searched through completed listings I saw high quality firearms that had no reserve/no bids/ penny starting bids and no one bought them? but when I search through current listings I cannot find any that are about to end that look like that.

Am I missing something obvious? why doesnt someone bid$25and win?

I only find these in completed & not current auctions

On some sites..if the auction is ended early...(by the seller) the bids that were placed are cancelled and the listing reverts to it's starting price.

It is all smoke and mirrors with online auction houses........they are in it to make money off of selling someone’s firearm. They wouldn’t let it sell that low.

I think a penny start, no reserve auction on a major site that closes with no bids is highly unusual...somewhere out there in internet-land would see it and bid the $25 as you noted. I would guess many of these were reserve auctions.
