Just got these grips back from Forum member (DWFAN) Paul after a nice and much needed "refreshing".
A big thanks to (VM) Mike for hooking me up with the proper
donor grips to put this 1952 Austin PD Heavy Duty (rack #10),
back to the way it looked when it was carried on duty.

Before pictures:

No Medallions

Now freshened up by Paul with some medallions i had.

I sorta like the little marks on the butt of the originals where you can tell Wanted posters were put up! Nice replacements though!

They aren't replacements - they are the originals repaired.

What an outstanding example of craftsmanship and having them mistaken as replacements is the ultimate complement!

Very nice work. I had him do a pair for me on a 1946 K-22 that I dropped on a concrete pad out of the case at the range one day. He made them look just like new for me.

Thanks to all.
I figured this one had served with distinction and since it won't
be serving as a duty weapon any longer it could use a little
dressing up in retirement.

My apologies to the purists.
