Has anyone modified there 15-22 to be automatic? Is it possible?

Yes it is possible, but you would need to be a class. 2 weapons manuf, to do it legally...

Anything is possible. As noted, unless you're a licensed manufacturer of machine guns, it ain't legal...

if youre referring to "bump fire" this gun doesnt have enough kick to generate the 'cycle'

lol, yeah.. but I give it 2 mags before the extractor joins the empty shells on the way out!

Actually a friend of the class 2 weapons manuf. That is 1 himself has 1 and I've put a brick threw it myself.. no real prob. So far but its on borrowed time I agree

what's a double tap trigger thingy?

A couple of companies build them but its basicly a lever than mounts on the trigger guard so when u pull the trigger it fires and as u bring ur finger back forward it fires again making it fire twice as fast as u just pullin the trigger as fast as u can

whoa I don't think he is looking to cause problems, He is just asking a simple question of can something be done?

Its like asking "how fast can your car go with the governor removed?" (governors cap your cars speed somewhere in the 110mph range) Of course going over the speed limit(usually 65mph) is illegal(and I'm sure you never did that), but if your governor was removed how fast could you get your car to go? 150mph?


Personally yes i think you could do it with a little modifying of the trigger, but it would be irreversible with out new parts and I doubt the 15-22 would be able to handle it for too long.
