All -- be careful when ordering from Freedom munitions.
I had heard good things about freedom munition so I went to the website and ordered some ammo, the site seemed fairly well done and everything seemed legit.
Unfortunatley I had unknowingly gone to the wrong site -- freedom Ammunition and not freedom munitions.

Freedom Ammunition is a complete SCAM site. They do sell ammo but everything about them is a lie.
They represent the ammo as new but then ship you reloads. They tell you it has shipped but it takes ten additional emails and calls until you finally get the ammo weeks later.
Lastly -- the ammo is BAD to the point of being unusable. We had 5 squibs out of the first 200 rounds -- where the round fired but did not make it out of the barrel and became stuck in the barrel.

Please do yourself a favor and AVOID freedom ammunition. I buy ammo online regularly and shoot 1000+ rounds per month. I must say that the whole experience with them has been horrible in every way possible.

Once I realized my mistake I also ordered from freedom munitions and that experience has been 100% perfect, good ammo, good price, fast shipping.

Please tell your friends to avoind Freedom Ammunition, I hate to think of people getting injured when a bullet gets stuck in the barrel and they try to fire another round. A less knowledgeable shooter may not realize that the barrel is plugged and try to fire a second round -- this could result in serious injury.

Again -- Freedom munitions is a reputable company but Freedom ammunition should be avoided no matter what the price of the ammo -- it is unusable.

There are many sites out there who try to capitalize on a successful besiness and get away with it for a while. Buyer beware, thanks for the heads up.

Did you notify Freedom Munitions? They are a rather large firm and may be able to "clean up" some of this mess. No Company likes their reputation hijacked.

Yes, Freedom munitions is aware of the other site.

One way that Freedom Ammunition can be deterred from doing business is this.

Ammoseek.com is one website that a lot, and I mean a lot, of folks use to to search the internet for ammo deals. If you join up there/register, you can search for ammo that Freedom Ammunition sells, and flag/report it. You can leave specific comments regarding what you know about this company's practices, that are considered unethical to the firearms community. If Ammoseek.com gets enough of these complaints, they will remove Freedom Ammunition from their website, effectively eliminating a major form of Freedom Ammunition's advertisement and ability to do business through the internet. I have already done this, and I have had Ammoseek respond to my report telling me what I have stated here about them keeping complaints on file and removing businesses that operate in such a manner, as Freedom Ammunition does, if they receive enough complaints on a specific company.

Still at it

Hopefully this bump keeps the memory of this guy alive until he finally goes under for good.
Just had a carbon copy of the OP issue.

The ammo was worthless and would not even chamber into either my Colt Commander 1911 or My Springfield Mod2. The only way to get him to respond was to email that I was disputing my charge with the credit card company due to merchantability issues. When he called he was rude, arrogant and acted as if the problems with his company being unable to fulfill the order were somehow my fault.
He refused to provide me with a return call tag number and kept repeating You are going to just leave my ammo on the porch and FedEx will pick it up.
I insisted that doing so was unimaginably unsafe and he was wasn’t concerned in the slightest. When he finally realized that I was not going to do something unsafe he got belligerent and said "fine I'm reporting you to the ATF for federal ammunitions fraud". ??? Seriously?
When he received notice from the CC company of the dispute he texts me two screen shots, supposedly of my shipping tags, with "your just plain nasty" following the photos.
The photos clearly show that he had stated to the FedEx Ground pickup personnel that they were picking up "BRASS" not live ammunition.
I responded that since he felt the need to threaten me, I would respond in kind and report him to the ATF for obvious shipping violations.
At that time I received a very contrite email from "Jeff", obviously Steve trying to save face. Giving me (finally) written verification that THEY requested I leave this ammo on my porch.
I have contacted FedEx 3 times now since yesterday and they state that no call tag has been requested for my address. I assume that because his attempt to return hazmat is prohibited, (something he states in one of the other complaints) that he has cancelled the tag I see in the screenshot to avoid further fines.
I have even attempted to get him to provide me with his FedEx acct number and I will TAKE the ammo to my local FFL who is allowed to ship it back but that is unacceptable to him.
Because he is now unable/unwilling to retrieve his garbage ammunition he has decided to try and fight the dispute by submitting my order form. A simple warranty of merchantability voids his argument so I'm not really sure why he is bothering beyond sheer desperation… (UPDATE FEDEX DID ARRIVE AND PICK THIS UP)
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

Indeed, with 16 pages and photos of his lunacy.
Along with the promised report to the ATF in his jurisdiction, The BBB and several other forums.
This guy is out there and needs to be stopped from the gross misrepresentations he makes.
His ammo is going to kill someone

Glad you guys bumped this back up. I missed this thread last year and it's good to know about ripoff artists playing off a successful and good to deal with vendor by naming their company very similar. I hope that the real Freedom Munitions knows about this clown and is going after him legally.

As a former employee of the man who runs Freedom Ammunition I have one thing to say... this man is a severe alcoholic upon other "sketchy" behaviors... half the time he makes you're ammunition he can barely even talk right. DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE! he has 3 people in the shop, the customer service number is his number and let me save you some time by saying you are going to get 1 of the 3 responses: "**** you" "stop buying my ammo if you don't like it" "do you want the ammo or not"
Everything I've read on these posts and comments are 100% true. He takes prescription medicines in excessive amounts and needs to be downright shut down. He doesn't care about you, he doesn't care about your ammo... simple as that.
