Greetings all, new guy here. Not sure if this has been already been discussed but here goes.
The only thing I don't like about this gun is loading the magazines. I found that it's a pain even using the loading assist button.
I found that the Baby Uplula loader works perfectly with M&P mags IF you remove the loading assist button. Otherwise, the loader will be slightly too small and will bind during loading, which defeats the whole purpose.
I got my loader for about $24 on Amazon.
To remove the button, simply remove the magazine's baseplate and spring. The button's slot is "opened up" near the bottom of the mag and allows the button to simply fall out. Reassemble your mag and you're good to go. Removing the button doesn't affect operation in any way.
The only catch: make sure you keep your loader in the range bag because the mags will be slightly harder to manually load with that assist button gone.
Hope this helps someone.
