I'd do what Oldengineers' wife suggested and get in touch with an appropriate attorney. You risk getting run around without somebody going to bat for you. You and your son have enough on your plate. Let someone else find this *** in whatever hole he's crawled into.

Unfortunately we are in a place as a society that we need quality honest attorneys more than ever. Nothing seems to get done without them. People want to give you the runaround and avoid you hoping you’ll just give up. It’s sad. There’s been three times in my life where I’d have been in trouble without the help of a “ blood sucking lawyer” as someone referred to them as……. After all you wouldn’t go to a gun fight without a gun !!!
