Basic "dumb" question. How does one measure the barrel length on a S&W revolver? I have a 686 Plus and think it is 4" but not sure.

If a chicken and a half lays an egg and a half in a day and a half how long will it take a rooster to hatch out a brass doorknob into a hardware store?
