Barrel Shroud question

Hi everyone, question on barrel shrouds for the 15-22
I recently got one: really like how it enhances the look of the rifle.
Last week I took it plinking in the hills (I live in Nevada) but this weekend I was thinking of going to the supervised range.
Has anyone ever had any issues with a barrel shroud at the range? Just curious if you get any questions from people about if it's an actual suppressor, etc.
I seem to remember when I was at the range awhile back, someone with a suppressor had to show their paperwork that they lawfully purchased it. But that was a few years ago, maybe it was something else.

You might get some looks and a question or two but never had problems with a barrel shroud. Most range employees / volunteers see you are shooting 22lr and know it's just a shroud.

The sound of the gun should inform anyone worth calling an RO that it's just a non-functional shroud.

I wouldn't think a range in NV would have much concern, either. Suppressors have to be pretty common there.

I take my 15-22, with the shroud to many different ranges, and NOT one person ever asked any questions on the weapon. I think range officers, but I guess they know when looking at it, that is a fake.
