Visited my local Bass Pro emporium for some 460 ammo and came across a new PC M500, 625 and a 327 TRR8. Brief observations. The 500 looked like a Bone Collector that had been bead blasted. It was very heavy and not all that nice to look at. The 625 had those clown grips, but to be honest they don't look completely awful in person. Nice in the hand and I like the balance. The 327 looked real fine, the action was silky smooth and it had a good feel in my hand. I really thought about buying it but I need to slow down the buying and do more blasting.
I did ask the salesman about pricing as all of them were a few dollars above msrp. He told me that was because those three models were "very rare". No different than hanging out at a car dealership, I suppose.
