Battery Chainsaw Recommendations would be appreciated. Looking at a 16" 40 Volt and 4 AH battery - possibly Greenworks, Ryobi, or Wen. Tired of the hassle of Gas/Oil, hard to start after setting, etc.

Would guess a number of you have tried one? Ideas on what works or did NOT work for you. All advice appreciated.

I have a 18V Ryobi 12" bar, it was very good as a light duty/back up chain saw. I would not hesitate to buy a Ryobi 40V, I had the string trimmer, and it was more powerful that my 110 VAC trimmer.

When I first got out of high school, my family had a logging business. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR A SHARP CHAIN! just buy a couple of spares when you buy the saw!!!

I bought this 14" Greenworks 40v about 2 years ago. It came with a 2ah battery and I purchased a 5ah battery for it.

I carry it on my ATV to clear fallen trees off the trails in the spring time.

New chains are only $15.

I have used it A LOT and I'm quite pleased with it.

I'm sure those trees were place there by some *** environmentalists.

I've got one of these and have been very pleased.
