Went to a little local gun show this morning and saw this holster on a table in the back. I’m amazed at the condition, it’s gorgeous with all stitching solid and no scuffs or scratches. Transitional 3.5” N frame fits perfectly. It was a good morning!

Great find, Tim. Pictured is a close relative.

Yours is an Elberton and I do prefer the Calhoun City versions. Jack Martin and his business partner Criswell made the former versions and not the Elbertons, Jack having sold Berns-Martin in early 1963 and been relocated. A surprisingly large number of both exist today when considering the short time that Elberton was in operation -- about 5 years -- vs. 13 for the Calhouns. Lesser known is the marking found on the 1930s versions of which turnerriver has several.
