Went to the Canton First Monday Trades Day today. Billed as the largest flea market in Texas. I'm always on the lookout for gun stuff at these things. In one of the shops was a box marked "Holsters - $10". Found a S. D. Myers floral carved holster that looked to fit a K Frame 5" barrel. But someone had cut down the front so I threw it back. Kept digging around and almost fainted. In my hand was Berns-Martin that looked brand new! A little wear in the inside but the outside is perfect, no scratches and the stitching is still perfect. The first Berns-Martin I've seen outside of photos! I get home and try my 4" M27 and I'll be derned if it's for a 3.5"! So, next year I'll be looking for a good shooter grade 3.5"! ( I don't keep safe queens ) I've never posted pics before so I hope they show in the post.

Great find-if it's stamped Calhoun City Ms it was made in the 1950's or early 1960's,
Elberton, Ga. was 1960's or later.

Nice find; those are great collectible holsters.
If you intend to use it, beware that sometimes the leather covering the spring inside the holster wears away resulting in bare metal against the gun which may cause scratches.
