Do you prefer a pistol or wheel gun for C&C and which is your favorite?

Depends on my mood and what I'm wearing. 642 is my usual, but a 1911, or a S&W 3rd gen in .40 or 9mm isn't uncommon either.

I have carried all types over the last 38 years. While I enjoy carrying a Model 66 with a four inch barrel, I only carry a S&W 1911 now. Totally comfortable, very easy to conceal, no problem with fast access.

My 3913 sees the most carry time. I do rotate it with my 2.5" 66-2 though.

Alot depends on my situation at the time. Regards 18DAI.

:) I like to carry a gun in my front pants pocket. For about two years I have been caring a S&W 637. Last week I bought a Kahr P380. It seems to fit in my pocket better and is a tad lighter. I have been wanting one of these for a long time but they were just to much money. I found a new one from an individual and jumped on it. I think I am going to like it. Don

I always used to carry a 2.5" 66 but these days I pretty much carry a Kimber Ultra CDPII in .45 acp exclusively. Occasionally on really hot days I may grab my Model 60 Ladysmith .357.

I like the third generation autos by Smith & Wesson. Some of the best autos ever make. Mine is a 3913 carried in a Crossbreed Super Tuck. The holster offsets the weight of the gun. I forget I have it on. Very reliable weapon.

I'm a revolver man, myself. If I leave the house I've either got my S&W 638 in my right pocket or my 2-1/2" 686 in my Smartcarry. I've got a new holster ordered for the 686 and am planning to go IWB with it.
