Best flip to the side magnifier for an EOTech?

Hi all,

I'm looking for advice from forum members for a flip to the side magnifier for my EOTech 512. I'm looking for something price competitive, as opposed to EOTech's $500 magnifier. Any recommendations? Pics would be great and any real world pros and cons would be helpful!

Seems like the Vortex is out of stock at most of the big retailers I've checked. Most state it will be back in stock later this month.

The Primary Arms Long Eye Relief magnifier is a good alternative.

I would pick one that's in your budget and has at least 2" eye relief.

Still recommend the Vortex and Primary Arms long eye relief.

I just bought this UTG 3x with the QD mount (not the flip-to-side mount, I needed a lower profile magnifier for my CP reddot). The build quality is great for $50 and it does it's job well. IMO it's a great budget magnifier.

Be careful buying different magnifiers in relation to the height of their mounts. You want the magnifier to be as close as possible to the same height as your Eotech. Primary arms is really the way to go on a budget. I wouldn't do anything cheaper than that, and realistically, most probably don't need better quality than that. It's good stuff! Call them and ask for the specific mounts that work for your Eotech. They're friendly, the ship same day, and they'll stand behind what they sell.
