Best New TV Feature - Remote Headphones

Audio died on the bedroom TV, so off to Costco for a replacement. Bought an Element brand TV, which we'd never heard of but the reviews were good.

Installed it and quite pleased with the value of this 199 dollar, 40 inch, 4K television, with Wifi and smart features. But the best feature is the "app" that you can load on your smart phone, which becomes a remote control and with the use of the phone's headphone jack and noise-canceling headphones, a way to eliminate hubby's snoring overtaking the TV audio.

I recently replaced my bedroom Samsung "remedial class" tv with a JVC Ruko "honors class" tv. $99.00 delivered from Wally World.

I also use the headphone app on my Galaxy s9. Amazing stuff.

My biggest complaint is that JR found YouTube on it and he commandeers it every day at 3:30 after school.

We just got a new tv as well. I'm not sure if it can be run by my phone as yours can, but I use Roku and the remote has a plug in for headphones that I use when my wife is on the phone. Works great!

Not to hi-jack, but has anyone tried to retrofit a set with a Bluetooth transmitter and either a remote speaker or headphones?
