Best Powder for 10MM

Hello all. I am looking to start reloading 10MM with 180 or 200 grain Hornady XTP's. What is the best powder for the greatest velocity? Any other suggestions for reloading 10MM in general? Thank you!

Accurate Arms Number 7 immediately springs to my mind.

Longshot , VVN-105 , 800X , Silhouette & Autocomp will give highest velocities . 800X is a PITA as it does not meter you have to weigh every charge . The others meter just fine . Acc #9 , Blue Dot & 2400 will also produce good velocities .

I settled on Blue Dot, and get 1245 fps with a 180 JHP. Could probably go hotter, but I have no reason for more.

For max vel with 180gr, BlueDot & Longshot & maybe AA#7. For 200gr, BlueDot still does well but AA#9 is very accurate in my various 10mm with top vel & seemingly less pressures.

I love 800X but it does not meter very well. Longshot is my next choice.

AA#9 is THE powder for full power 10mm loads. I use it.

AA#5 works well for FBI light loads.

Anything but blue dirt (blue dot). AA#9 is my vote.

in that order for velocity

HS-6 with CCI350s between 7.0 and 8.0 gr. depending on bullet weight. Nothing beats that when accuracy is concerned from my P220.

I look at my targets and it is between 7.0 and 7.25 gr HS-6 and 180 - 200 gr bullets.
