Get to pick up my silencerco sparrow this weekend and wondering what people's experience is with ammo? Right now all I have is a box of Remington subs and Winchester subs.
Any feedback or direction for more info on the subject would be great!

The M&P22 and the Walther P-22 have very stiff recoil springs and may not cycle sub-sonic ammo. I know they don't reliably cycle Federal champion.

I have run a brick of CCI standard velocity through mine. Ran perfect.

The Chief is right - CCI Std Vel is a very consistent target round in all my rimfire pistolas at a reasonable price. Another of my favorite standard velocity target rounds is Wolf Match Target and/or SK Standard Plus...

Subsonic is not recommended for any blow-back semi pistols. You can try it for yourself, but pretty sure you are going to have nothing but trouble with it. Standard velocity and (better yet) high velocity has the kick to cycle the slide much better. And will be more than accurate enough for the M&P22.

My 2 cents~

CCI STD V is my primary choice for shooting my M&P22 suppressed. It also happens to be subsonic at all but the coldest of temps.

I have run unknown amount ( few hundred) subs through my SW 2206, ruger 22/45, 15-22 with a liberty Kodiak TL without any malfunctions. Slide cycled well until truly "dirty"- would not cycle with hyper velocity with the can off. I wanted to run them to failure so I had some idea of what it would take. Try as many different types as you can, keep notes- function, first round pop, type of malfunction, rd count, it is the only way to find out what work in YOUR gun. Be Safe,

I got a bunch of Remington sub-sonic right & it runs in mine just fine.

Yep, I concur. Anyone who claims .22 subsonic will not cycle in a suppressed .22 pistol obviously does not own or shoot suppressed .22 pistols. Though I've never shot subsonic in a non suppressed pistol, I suppose there could be a cycling issue, but none I've ever heard of. Part of the cycling reliability of a suppressed weapon is the fact that it is suppressed.

Been lurking for months and getting great info. Finally decided to post.

I have had my M&P 22 for about 5 months. I typically only shoot CCI SV with no issues at all. I have probally put 2000 rounds of CCI SV without one issue.I use it in my plate matches.

I also shoot the CCI Subsonic out of it without many issues. Occasionally I will get a FTE due to the slide not cycling far enough back. This is unsuppressed. This is even a 1 in 50rd happening.

I have 2 M&P's, one for me and one for my son. We shoot the same out of both guns.

I would imagine being suppressed, you should have no issues.
