Some were real witty and or funny...but my fav had to be the Chrysler spot with Eminem...loved the message about not counting Detroit out...seemed to sum up America as it was and how it could be again...

I liked the cute one where the beaver blocked the road to stop the guy driving onto the washed out bridge. I think it was a Bridgestone ad. Sorry, I'm a sucker for that stuff.

I thought the best commercial was the promo that FOX did for "House" . It was a take off of the old Coke Mean Joe Green commercial .

Vader and the beaver pretty good, imported from Detroit OK, but several were in just plain poor taste, eg Faith Hill and the mini Cooper ad.

The Groupon ad was strange, and the Bud Light ad that ended with cowboys singing an Elton John song was even stranger, I guess they worked because I remembered them (in my nightmares).

I vote for the VW add with the downsized Darth Vader... hands down the best if just for the response from the boy. It reminded me of my son when he was about that age and how he got into every character he was ever interested in. Like the time he wanted to be a tiger and painted his face in black and orange stripes with permanent marker... that was a HOOT!

Yes, that was the funniest one! But unlike you, I did not catch who the advertiser was. That means the message was a failure, but then I'm old and need the message to come across more slowly to comprehend it all.

+ 1 for Darth.....
My new van has that feature, I started it by accident once, it scared me!
I can relate!!!

I agree with you. And that scares me.
