Let's talk quality television. Put up your favorite.

Mine with me I run the gamut, The Rifleman, All in the Family, Married with Children, I Love Lucy, Gunsmoke, The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Benny Hill but my all time favorite has to be Perry Mason. Lucky me it comes on twice a day on ME TV around here. I never miss it no matter how many times I've seen the episode. Late night at 10:30pm it's hard to nod out in my favorite comfy chair till 11:35 or so. Perry outsmarts everyone especially Hamilton Burger and Lt. Tragg. William Hopper as Drake is a pretty tough guy. Ray Collins as Tragg is superb. Great cast, great guest stars, Perry and Drake always drive the hottest cars and speaking of hot, Barbara Hale as Della.

What's your choice for great TV?

Older ones - All in the Family, Barney Miller, Rockford Files, Jeopardy, I dream of Jeannie (who DIDN'T dream of Barbara Eden?)and Gilligan's Island

Newer ones - Blue Bloods, Chicago series - Med, Fire, PD, Blacklist

I once had a college professor who was a retired police detective. He said the two most realistic cop shows were NYPD Blue and Barney Miller. I liked both of those shows.

Another cop show I liked was Crime Story, starring Dennis Farina.

I don't know if they're the best shows of all time, but other shows I really liked were:

The Equalizer
Wiseguy
Outer Limits
(original and recent versions)
Tales of the Golden Monkey
The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles
Law and Order: Criminal Intent
(the ones with Vincent D'Nofrio and Kathryn Erbe)
Sherlock (the 1st three seasons, anyways)
The Sherlock Holmes series starring Jeremy Brett (the best of the tv/movie Sherlocks, imo)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer (don't judge me)
True Blue (cop show about NYPD ESU)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

I guess that's a good enough list for now.

1. MASH
2. Sopranos
3. Twilight
4. Outer limits
5. Honey mooners
6. Married with children
7. Two and a half men.
8. Combat
9. Desert patrol or rats?
10. 12 o'clock high.
11. World at war on channel 9 for decades.
12. Movie for a Sunday afternoon. Every Sunday.
13. Million dollar movie every night channel 9
14. Red Skelton
15. Dean Martin.
16. Carrol Burnett
17. Amos and Andy
18. Three stooges
19. Andys gang saturday mornings.
20. The rifleman
21. Elvira spooky movies.
22. Popeye
23. Krazy Kat with ignatz.
24. Tom and Jerry
25. Woody wood pecker
26. Yogie bear.
27. Sea Hunt

This is when tv was interesting not the crime killing stuff of today.
