Opinions Please... I want to purchase an outdoor game camera but would like some suggestions for "best bang for the buck" ! Have looked and Browning and several others.... Maybe something around $100. ???
I've never used a game camera but I work with a bunch of hard core hunters that do use them. To a man they have all settle on the Browning as their favorite. I have no idea which model. I have seen the videos and photos; they sure look good.
Lots of choices out there. I like one that has a small screen to allow a peak at the pics while you're in the field. I dislike taking the SD card back to the truck or house to view on the PC.
Regardless of the one you select use high end lithium batteries in it. Winter temps take a toll on batteries.
You can really get some great pictures as many members have posted here.
Depends if you want pictures or video. For video, Bushnell makes the best camera. I have nine that I bought about five years ago running about $150 to $200 each.
Several have gone bad like the display will no longer read text which you need to set the parameters. They have a two year warranty and you can get an extended warranty which is about $20. It the camera goes bad, it cost you $10 to sent it in and they need $10 to return it so you are out of $20. They do not fix the camera but offer you a new one if it is out of warranty for about the same price you can buy it online.
