Beware of scammers!!

My wife and I recently purchased an Irish Setter puppy out of state. In reading through suggestions posted online about how to be secure with a long distance online purchase, one of the suggestions was to have the seller send you a photo of the item with a note next to it bearing your name. Most of the time the scammer won't go to the trouble of trying to use photoshop or some other software and will merely back away.

In our case, she sent the photo of the puppy with our names on a piece of paper and eventually the pup arrived in Boston safe and sound.

James
Puppy has Kathy's eyes and your nose. Did she pee on the paper?

Just as an FYI,, IIRC D.B. Wesson also had Irish Setters for pets. She is definitely a love but wow is she full of P&V. Not a good time of the year to be housebreaking a puppy either. So far she is still using pee pads in the kitchen at the tune of $50 a box and we are using around a box a month. Can't wait until spring. Heres a picture of the little darling getting water from the fridge door. Kathy came into the kitchen one day and found a half inch of water on the floor.

How did they ship the Dog? Next day air?

She actually came in as cargo on a regular Delta flight. Vet check on their end, plane ticket and travel crate all for $250. I would have preferred to purchase one locally but there just aren't many Irish Setter pups available in the New England area. Kaitlyn came from Michigan. I think the flight was around 3 hours.

This is my 5th Irish pup. Love the breed and their coat is just beautiful. This is my 13 year old guy, Reagan.

Following close behind the scammers are those who take up loads of your time and send tons of messages about a given item then back out--- I have one rule- if we have ever had any kind of problem, ( such as this) any offers I make are NOT extended to you. Many think because you have something for sale you are desperate- A word to the wise-- don't assume this-- :(

Did she get a meal? What was the in flight movie OLD YELLER?
Too bad she didn't have an accident when TSA searched her.
I'll bet they confiscated her treats, after all she does have that look.
