Thinking something along the lines of a BG380 in .22 LR would be a welcome addition the the S&W line. Maybe Add a DA/SA trigger feature or M&P striker action would make it perfect.
This would be similar to a modern mod 61. Nice little pocket gun for pinking and fending off pine cone attacks on those dangerous woods walks.
Heck, I'd settle for a 22 conversion for my BG380 to get started.
