I’ve been on a bit of a quest for one of these because I just love the total protection they offer in a hunting scenario. Squirrel woods mainly.

It ended with the purchase of this beautiful Bianchi #16L for a 6” K frame. Don’t know when it was made or what it’s worth, but dang I’m really geeked with it!

Nice. I don't own a Bianchi but do have three or four flap holsters and they are the way to go under certain circumstances. No such thing as a quick draw but practice should get it under three seconds or so.

THAT is a very nice holster, KK. Congratulations on finding such a nice example. That one will have lots of great utility for your intended purpose. I think you will find it to be well worth what you paid for it. I know I'd buy one just like it if I could find one!

I have the same holster for my mod 29 or 27 that is great in the field. I believe I purchased it circa 1980. I have another similar one made by a smaller Washington state holster company no longer in business. Thinking the name was Lawrence..non basket weave and slightly smaller flap.
