I had cataract surgery on my second eye last week and it will be about a month before I can get a new prescription for glasses with progressive lenses, so I need reading glasses for a while.
I don't mind wearing glasses full-time. (hides the bags under my eyes) and constantly putting the readers on and off is driving me crazy. I got some bifocal sunglasses at Cabela's and they are great but I can't seem to find clear bifocal reading glasses - except on-line. Is this something you can get at Walmart, Walgreen, Target etc.?

Thanks,

Jeff

The optical department at Walmart should have them. The top of the lenses are just clear and the bottom portion is your reading glasses.

You cal also get the "half glasses" that only contain your reading glasses and there is no "top" - you just look over the top!!

Take your choice...................good luck and enjoy the new vision!!

If I can find them, I have a pair of prescription, progressive glasses you can have for shipping costs. I wear readers that are bifocals, but the progressives about drove me crazy with my head tilting back and forth trying to constantly find the right focal length for clarity of what I was trying to read. No more for me.

You can get bifocal safety glasses (shooting glasses) online cheap at any of the safety supply companies...lots of different styles and tints too.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check Walmart and the Dollar Store.
I had found the safety glasses and sunglasses but not conventional glasses.
Shaggist: Thanks for the offer, but I think your prescription would probably be different from mine.
