Any one own one of these if so what are your opinions do you need the steel band inside?

I will be carrying a 327 Night Guard in a Triple K leather holster so not a super heavy gun.

What is considered the top of the line belts for holsters?

Thanks for the help!!

I had to look that up as I've never heard of a steel-lined gun belt before.

Personally, I think it's unnecessary. I think for your gun a standard double-layer gun belt, 1.5" wide, will be sufficient. I like Beltman belts. If you do think you'll need extra support, he offers horsehide construction or a polymer insert, but I don't think it'd be necessary. I've carried a steel K-frame IWB, which I believe is heavier than your Night Guard, with his standard 1.5" bullhide belt and it was very comfortable for all-day carry. If I were carrying a heavy gun OWB, I might go with horsehide for a little extra support.

I actually just received a belt from bigfoot, and I may be returning it. It is too thick for a standard holster, and it is so bulky that it has negative consequences in terms of concealment. It is a heck of a belt, I might keep it as a range belt, but it is definitely too much belt for EDC. This is nothing negative twards the company or its products, like I said, it is a very well made peice of equipment, it just does not fit the bill for CCW for me.
