Hey guys, I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive bipod set up for my AR. I'm going to use it mostly to dial in my sights and occasionally my girl will use it when she shoots my AR. If it was something that I would use often I would go out and buy a top of the line one but I want to stay on the cheaper side bc I won't use it much. What you guys think??

Matthew that is the one I just linked to him, only you had a better price. I really like the one I have!!

I'm going to suggest a Harris bi-pod. Not the cheapest you can buy; I own 3 of them and will happily buy another if I ever need to.

I have one I bought at Gander Mountain for about 35.00 or 40.00 and it fits my needs well.

Harris bipods are top notch and if one is going hunting where bipod issues could ruin a hunt they are what I would recommend. Seeing as one can buy 4 of the other bipods for what a Harris costs, a risk/reward analysis is appropriate.

I am suitably impressed with the 2 we have. I bought them for use at a shooting camp for the local Navy JROTC that we did over Thanksgiving and they held up beautifully. They took everything that those teen-agers could dish out. If I did not know which were NC and which were Harris, I would not be able to tell by looking at them.

I get what you are saying. You made your suggestion, I made mine. Any time a person spends their hard earned cash, their purchasing decision should be made based on their available funds and what they equate as value for their money.Right?

I use a Grip-Pod on my M&P15OR. It's been through multiple carbine courses and worked perfectly. I wouldn't necessarily use it for hunting, but for going prone to ensure a long distance shot under pressure, it works very well. Of course, it offers a couple of ways for the support hand to engage the forearm.

Two models are offered....a LEO and a Military version. I've found the LEO (less expensive) to do everything I need.

Sir there was no disrespect made in any of the postings. I have a Harris on my TC Icon where every shot has to count because other than practice (which is muy importante) the other shots go into my freezer. The Harris are nice but for shooting varmints the NCstars or Caldwell work really nice also and for the price the NCstars are hard to beat!! :D
p.s. You are very right!!
