Steal the wife's hair dryer, heat the area with the screws, unscrew the screws, don't get overzealous when you reinstall them.

Welcome! This is good advice. Pay attention to the recommended torque values (usually 12-15 inch-pounds) when reinstalling the screws with a drop of blue thread locker. Good luck!

And don't use red Loctite.
Blue is max you should use.
I use purple with good results.

I think the question was - what size/type screw does removal require?
Torx, allen head etc. I don't personally know.

Mine were Allen. Just pick the one that fits.

Wheeler makes a good set of hollow ground bits that fit tight into the screw heads. You can get them pretty reasonable and it covers most of the screws you'll deal with.
