Black finish touch-up

In preparation for the inevitable, what should I use to touch-up the black finish on scandium frame revolvers? Is this an anodized finish?
Other than a black Sharpie, is there a more elegant and permanent solution?

Birchwood Casey makes a touch up marker in flat black that works acceptably.
Many LGS and most online retailers stock them.
Sharpies tend to dry with a purple tinge.
