Just tried this as an experiment on the front of the cylinder after being at the range, wow, just a Q-tip. No rubbing and wipe off a half of a minute later. Looks like it's never been shot.
I'll do a before and after next time I go to the range. Again. Wow.

John I have been using blue magic for years and I have not tried it on stainless guns, but I can attest to the fact that it will clean stainless blades, nickel, chrome, so it stands to reason it would make stainless gun look good. I have always bought it in the tube and it lasts for years and goes a long ways.

Regardless of how shiny things look, Blue Magic always seems to accumulate black on the Q tip so it is still polishing.

I'm pretty sure I have this stuff, and if I remember correctly, it smells horrendous, but works wonders.. :)

I use it for polishing the metal on my motorcycle, and it polishes really well. I never thought of using it on a gun.

Amazon has it as well, about $5 and free shipping if the order totals $25 or more.
Beats running around trying to find it.
