OK, I purchased my first 15-22 at the end of March. It had serial Dtx4*** and it did not come with Blue Springs. My boy and i have put over 2000 rounds with only 2 FtE'S. I think there was not enough powder to push back the bolt all the way and they got stuck on there way out. Other then that flawless! We have had so much fun we just purchased a secong 15-22. We purchased it last night a Big5 in Cali. I opened it up and it had the Blue Springs. The funny thing is that the serial number id Dtx2***. I have only seen the Blue Springs on serial numbers that were after my first one the had the higher serial number. ANY IDEAS?????

add the jp trigger kit... it will reduce the pressure on the hammer spring allowing it to cycle easier... it may reduce the chance of an oob... ive had the same springs as you and bent my hammer spring day 1 not for the oob problem but i thought the trigger was horrible .. so i adjusted it.. i run those springs to around 12000 rds then replaced them with the jp kit with alot of polishing.. if nothing else bend the legs on the hammer spring about 40 degrees to reduce its weight... you will be happy with the results

I have a DTH. Works just fine. Over 15k rounds. No FTEject. No FTFire (though I used to have about 1% mag-snags). Now I load w/o using ALAB and have no mag-snags. Have had one OOB. No blue springs.

From my observations here over many months.... there is no rhyme nor reason for what S&W has done, is doing, or will do with the 15-22 that anyone has identified.... yet.
