How was the felt recoil? Does the locked breech on the Bodyguard bring its recoil to less than the PPK despite the PPK being metal? I have a thorough dislike of 380 straight-blowback guns.
I haven't shot them back-to-back, but I have shot a .380 PPK and the BG 2.0.
From memory, the PPK was considerably worse to shoot than the BG 2.0.
My experience also. I really wanted to like the 380 PPK/s that I got a couple of years ago, but it was a "kicker" and it went on down the road. I had the same experience with a Makarov 9X18 some years back. I had 9mm's that didn't kick that hard.
Sorry, should have specified - the PPK/S is in .32.
I think the recoil of the Bodyguard is not bad - the low bore axis really helps.
The .32 out of the heavy PPK/S, of course, is nothing.
