Bodyguard 2.0 trigger feel, ts vs nts?

I live in the sticks, and haven't found a store that has both ts and nts in stock to play with at the same time..
To anyone who has handled them both, did you notice any appreciable difference in the trigger pulls?

Sometimes I wish I lived “in the sticks”. I live in the middle of the desert, and there's always trade-offs to your environment.

When I bought my BG2, the gun store only had one left with No Thumb Safety.

I don’t know if a NTS and a TS BG2 would have any effect on the actual “feel” of the trigger.

I don’t like the trigger on the BG2. The trigger safety is slightly wider than the trigger. The edges of the trigger safety are somewhat sharp and cause some trigger finger discomfort after about 4 mags. I have never had any “finger discomfort” on any other firearm I’ve owned.

Thanks.. Yes, location is definitely a factor. Lots of shops here have them, but seem to choose one or the other to stock. I generally prefer nts guns, but anything this small that tends to get carried more "creatively" do to its size, I wonder if I wouldn't like the extra layer of safety. But the only actual difference that would make up my mind for me would be if the ts model affected trigger feel adversely. I'm sure I'm over thinking it, though I wouldn't be the first gun guy to do that.. I never carry without a holster, be it a traditional holster, pocket holster, or kidex trigger cover.

The thumb safety on the BG2 has been reported many times to be very difficult to release, taking both hands... I don't have any TSs on my defense carry handguns. A pocket carry, even with the Muddy River Tactical kydex, is always a place that does require more careful withdrawal and re-holstering.

Well, it’s not exactly a target pistol anyway. If you’re in a situation where your life depended on pulling it, I don’t think you’d notice the subtle nuances between ts and nts versions.

Manual safeties are designed to further prevent an accidental — or negligent — discharge. Most manual safeties do this by preventing the trigger from being pulled via a lever or catch. Disengaging the safety unlocks the firing mechanism, allowing the pistol to be fired.

Once unlocked, the trigger feel should be the same as the same model without a thumb safety.

Well, it’s not exactly a target pistol anyway. If you’re in a situation where your life depended on pulling it, I don’t think you’d notice the subtle nuances between ts and nts versions.

I see it a little different. It's a tiny gun that if I ever need to use it, I'd like every advantage possible. But then, I was always the guy at our club shooting steel challenge with the compact gun I edc instead of a full size gun like everyone else there.

I own one with TS and have shot my buddies no TS. I could tell no difference in the triggers.

As to needing two hands to disengage the safety, my 66 year old arthritic hands have no problem swiping it off easily. And I am coming off carpal tunnel surgery 3 weeks ago . It does loosen up after a bit.
