Just purchased yesterday - to range today - nothing, shell in chamber, would not fire. Took back to dealer who had the same issue - now back to factory. Will be interesting as to what they will do.

Yes and they are nice - maybe they can't fix mine and will send me a new gun without slide serrations.

If that's what you get, best to stick with it and not press your luck. ;)

Welcome to my world. Mine went back, came back exactly as it left. New parts, same issues. Light strikes, multiple pulls of trigger to fire.
Finally just put in heavier hammer spring. Heavy as all get out now but at least it goes bang when the trigger is pulled.

I think I'll hold of getting one. I was thinking of giving one to my daughter for a birthday present in April. Now it my be a Ruger LP9 or a small revolver. I sure was hoping to stick with S&W, though.

I didn't like the Bodyguard after shooting one. Ended up with Ruger LC9 and a Ruger LCP in .380 Both have good trigger pulls for D/A guns and the late LCP's have a very nice trigger with a shorter lighter and much cleaner pull to it raised sights too much more usefull then there old modle LCP.. In fact the LC9 & LCP.380 we picked up were for the wife ended up with another LC9 for me because I liked it's feel and carry was great. Oh and they all go bang when you pull the trigger! Feed well and had no issues so far.Your daughter may like the frame color coices too. For my wife both in Purple was the ticket.I got all black LC9. They have pink and berry lime green and others.. George

Took to the gun shop 3/14/14 - wonder how long it will take to get it back?

At least 2 weeks, my Pro series CORE 9 was delivered to them on 3-12-14 and as of yesterday they had not started it yet. My gun only has 175 rounds on it and had 23 rounds that the primers were not struck at all, and it was random.
