Bodyguard J Frame "Plug" removal?

Purchased this bodyguard with an internal lock, personally I think it would look more flush if it was plugged. I spoke with my local gun smith and he attempted to persuade me to leave in my internal lock. He said it will decrease the value of the gun and possibly cause problems, therefore he can't guarentee the work and does not recommend it. I kinda disagreed with him, but I don't know that much about my gun's internal parts. Does anyone think this could effect the guns performance? Does anyone have any pics of what the plug looks like when it is placed?

There's a member of this forum that sells filler "plugs" for the internal locks. I bought 3 from him and they work great. Easy instructions to remove the lock parts and install the filler. No permanent modifications, so if I ever want to sell the pistols I can restore them. They are not invisible but well made and fit good and come in blue or stainless.
Here's the rub: I can't remember his name (I'm doing this from my computer at work) but some of the guys will chime in with his name and contact info. HTH

I believe it is member bullseye smith he sells his plugs in the classifieds under accesories for sale just do a search for 'plug' and you may find it but I am sure he will chime in soon

It's easy to do. I'm an old "bob wire cowboy" with no mechanical skills what so ever, and I got her did.
