After the 4 hours on the range the other day. I spent a good hour cleaning the M&P. Now I'm not new to AR's or handguns, but I notice there is no lockup with the M&P 22LR. The bolt just slams to the breach face held by the spring tension nothing is locking up the bolt during the process, thus when the tigger is pulled the bolt fly's backwards and ejects the casing. Does this not affect the ability to have consistant shots? My bolt action Marlin 782 lock up for the 22 WMR.. Maybe it is related to more pressures that determind if a lock up bolt is needed...??

This just strikes me as different, I guess it works because all went well..
