Bond Arms Bullpup

BOND arms says not to use BLAZER ammo in their new semi-auto. It says the Blazer ammo is not crimped.
Has anyone shot or owned one of these pistols?

To get its
much longer barrel in a short pistol, the BULLPUP uses a patented Reverse Feed
System that pulls the round backward from the magazine instead of pushing it forward like
current semi-auto
pistols. This
backward movement requires ammunition
that has well
-
crimped
bullets,
because
rounds with
insufficient
crimp can
separate the case from the bullet, causing a jam.
We have done extensive testing, and have identified a wide
range of readily available ammo
that works well in the BULLPUP. Most hollowpoint ammo
is well
crimped and works
reliably and many brands of “practice” ammo also work well. We have
attached
a list of
brands and types of ammo that we have found to
be
appropriate for the BULLPUP, and we will
keep the list updated
on
our website.
If you decide to try brands or types of ammunition that are
not on our recommended list, we ask
for your
help by giving
us feedback on the ammunition
you use so we can pass that
information on to other BULLPUP owners.
If you use your
BULLPUP for self
defense, use only ammunition recommended by Bond.

I have fired one. It's just a curiosity to me. If you want something different it can scratch an itch, I guess. I'm sort of old fashion and prefer old time proven designs that work with pretty much any ammo. Shoot what you like and like what you shoot.

I've read a post by a guy on the Taurus Forum who owns one, he actually put it to the test with Blazer ammo, but then promptly quit as the first 2 rounds he attempted to chamber were pulled out of their cases.

Bullpup by Bond Arms

Thank you for Posting about the Bullpup.
I seen the TV Infomercial the other day
and became interested in the Pistol.

My take from your Post, is that as long as
you have a Crimp on your Store bought
Ammunition and your Reloads are Crimped,
the Bullpup will function correctly.

Since all my Reloads are Crimped I should
not have any Malfunctions.

Interesting concept, having the Pistol strip
the Bullet from the Magazine, and load the
Barrel.
