Bondi Making Adjustments to ATF

I'm glad to see this all playing out. God knows "my" generation just sat by and let the government take and take and take and take.
Way back in 1935 they should have stood up and said, Oh no you don't!" when the NFA was passed, but they all just turned their noses away like SHEEP and "agreed" that they weren't deserving of the very RIGHT the 2A gave them! YES, we the people SHOULD own machineguns and so-called sawed off shotguns, and suppressors!
In 1968 the government went for more, using the assassination of Kennedy as an excuse and we all just went along with it.
I'm so glad to see that somebody, somewhere - clearly those much younger than MY generation aren't willing to allow the status quo to exist without challenge.

Our society went through massive changes post-World War II.

Well, it all probably seemed a good idea at the time…….

Your take on history is a little bit off.
While the NRA seems to have failed in that era. The governments target was handguns.
This is what lead to many of our convoluted SBR and AOW flavored laws of today.
They lost these in a war of definitions while fighting successfully to keep handguns

If I ever sit on a jury and am faced with a lawyer that talks like the guy in the youtube video, I will find against his client on the basis that his repetitive word-salad style is so incomprehensible he must be trying to snow me. For example, what is game-game (or is it gain-game), some weird legal term?

As for him saying that Bondi's statement is "nuanced", I would say that after he was done it was stretched far beyond its elastic limit. Sorry, but that was drivel.

That lawyer is too long-winded, and his repeated use of the phrase “game game” is particularly annoying.
In fact, I find him annoying, period.
Why would not simply using the word “game” have been sufficient?

You guys may not like the way Mark words things, but I would want him defending me if I was charged with a gun crime. He is sharp and a huge proponent of the 2nd Amendment.

His channel is the 4 boxes diner. Cartridge box, ballot box, soap box, jury box.

Rosewood

I would not want him defending me before a jury on anything.
He is so annoying that he could turn neutral or persuadable jurors against me.
There are better Second Amendment defense lawyers our there.

This one paints a different picture. Some ATF resources shifted from alcohol and tobacco to immigration. No change to firearm enforcement, and in fact some gun rights groups are cautious about Bondi due to past acts as Florida AG. Plus, if we are to clamp down on guns being trafficked to Mexico, as recently promised, ATF must grow...gunna need a guano load of agents to tackle Mexico's cartels with guns problem.

I think the original quote says cartridge box instead of soap box.

President Trump issued a new Executive Order today regarding the Second Amendment. It’s possible AG Bondi is responding to this.

Can't seem to get the link to work. Anybody else having that problem?

As for the presentation by the lawyer, it was a little irritating because it was so repetitive. It kinda' felt like he was talking down to the listener, like he had to repeat himself for us to understand the fairly simple things he was explaining.

But I at least HOPE his interpretation of the memo is accurate. We'll see - time will tell.

It's funny to me that the guy in the article is bent out of shape about the ATF doing what they are paid to do, and yet I keep reading "enforce the laws we have" everywhere on gun forums. We're a conflicted lot, sometimes.

It is enforcing "rules" written by the ATF more so than the real laws on the books. Although, we do disagree with many on the books that need to be changed.
