This one was listed on a local forum. 58-1 with "nice wood grips". I dont normally buy lock era guns but the price was OK and it included 3 20 round boxes of 41 ammo. I thought the grips might be Culina but they weren't. Keith Brown non-relieved (only thing I would change if I were ordering) Coke smooth targets. Sometimes you roll the dice and it pays off.

Looks great, and the M58 is an awesome revolver. I don't know what you paid for the package, the grips should be well above $150 maybe $200, and the ammo is worth over $100 from what I see of factory .41M on local shelves (when you can find it). I've got a M58 from 1968, and I reload my ammo.

58-1

The price tags on the ammo is around $35 per so $100 is pretty close. I shoot a lot of 41. I have 3 58s, 4 57s, a Blackhawk and one of the new mid-frame Bisley Blackhawks that were just released a couple months ago. The Keith Brown grips are hard to price since he quit taking orders 4 years ago. The few I have seen offered are $500+. There is a well known grip website that sells custom and factory grips. He has 6 sets of KB grips from $700-$750 but most are roper style or checkered. I will flip the 58 as I do not care for S&Ws with the lock. Based on what I paid I should net the grips and ammo for free.

By the way if you shoot much 41 check out Steve Shields of High Desert Cartridge Company. He is loading the original model 58 load. 210 Grain TMJ or JHP at 925 fps.
